generate .ko during image build

Hi All,

i've written hello world program and  done a patch copied it inisde linux-renesas_4.19.bb file and when i compile the kernel it generates .ko file 

when i build the image after writing patch it does not generate .ko file in lib/modules/kernel/drivers, how can i do it
