How to restart when watchdog times out

We become indebted to.
My name is CHIX.

The software watchdog is verified on the CPU board on which RZ/G1E-PF is mounted.

Linux kernel
4.4.138-cip25-yocto-standard

I was able to confirm that everything worked, but when I timed out, I got a kernel panic.

What should I do if I want to restart?

The following is displayed in dmesg at boot time, and it seems like a setting to restart when timeout occurs, but it actually causes a kernel panic.

[1.157931] softdog: Software Watchdog Timer: 0.08 initialized. Soft_noboot = 0 soft_margin = 60 sec soft_panic = 0 (nowayout = 0)

I hope the soft_panic parameter can be set somewhere. As for the timeout value, ioctl works fine.

Thank you.
